Is august already almost over??

Hi guys!

I don't now about Sweden but in Tokyo the summer is definitely here! The last couple of days we have had pretty bad weather with lots of rain and wind because of a passing typhoon. But other that that we have sun and around 30 degrees each day! It's hard to deal with the heat sometimes but if you just accept you will be dripping with sweat all the time, keep on drinking water and "salt suppliment dinks" you will be fine. In my case sun protection is also a must.

Just had my first week back to school after summer vaccation. It was an okay week but did have one new teacher that was the worst. She just kept on being rude and telling us our level of japanese was really low.. so that sucked and I felt really down that day, but now I'm fine!

My japanese is slowly getting into better shape again. It's been mostly repeating in school for me but I think it's a good thing beacuse I had forgot some grammar and stuff! Kanji is also getting better pretty fast! So much easier when you see kanji all day around you.

So what have I done lately? Good question! I did go to an amazing hanabi in Yokohama, it was the best!

I also went to the ninja cafe in Akihabara but it was expensive and not really worth the money! But it was a fun thing to have done!

I went to a one-night camp with my old badminton club and it was so much fun and nice to get a break from Tokyo! I realized how much I do like the mountain areas in Japan, it's breathtaking and so relaxing! definitly think I would like to live near the mountains here in the future!

Also went out clubbing in Roppongi with friends from the dorm and Yoshi, so much fun! All you can drink for 4 hours for 160 kr? yes and yes!!

There was also a local festival we checked out during the holiday!

I also started running here again, just need to get it in to a weekly routine!

A lot of tasty food as well of course! Both cooked my me and restaurant food!

I will try to update this a bit more regularly from now on!
Hugs!

I'm back in Tokyo

Hi guys! Sorry for a bit late update but these first days I have been doing so much stuff! So still feels like I'm on a vacation somehow.. But I think that will change after tomorrow as the school starts! Haven't studied so much these last weeks so I'm a bit nervous but I should do okay I think! I will do my best!

Today I have just slept a lot and rested at the house. The house is really fresh and nice. There is a lot of Swedish people here so I got friends right away. But I don't only want to speak Swedish and English so doing my best to talk to all the other as well in Japanese! Today I got to talk Japanese with some of my house mates so it was a lot of fun and now they finally now that I can speak Japanese pretty well so from now on I think it will be even easier! I will work hard on remember all the new names.

The weather here is good but HOT! Yesterday was the worst day with 32 degrees and today we have 28 so it's a bit hard to get used to it.. But I'm sure I will!

I like the area I will in, it's not that busy and hectic but not to much countryside either. The connection to the central parts of Tokoy is also fast and convenient. But I'm thinking of getting a bike so I can get to the station faster and take the bike when shopping food and so on! I also think It will be nice to bike to the park and the kokubinji area. So a bike is on my very long "need to buy" list!

So I arrived on Tuesday night after a long flight and it was 2 hours delayed. I was tried but could easily find Joshua and stay at his place! On Wednesday me and Hannah when to Ikea and got me all the most necessary stuff for the first night at my new house! Thursday we went to Yokohama and met up with Yoshi, he showed us around the central parts! We walked all day and ended it with some nice drinking at a "beer garden" with a nice view of the sea. On Friday me and Hannah went to Korea town for some shopping and delicious Korean food and yesterday it was Hannah birthday party so I had an amazing time eating, taking and drinking with a lot of old friends. It was the best!

Now I'm off to eat dinner with Joshua here in the area we live!
See you later!
