Blogging from my second home!

Hi guys!

Enjoying yourself this feburary? Hope so!

I myself finished my exams yesterday. Soo nice to take a break for the hard core studying that exams calls for. As a true swede of course I will celebrate this with a party! Tomorrow it is birthday party, exam party, pre-party and end it all by dancing all that we can at a nightclub that will let all the economic students in for free just tomorrow night! Sounds like I have to get alot of rest for tomorrow. But it's going to be so much fun at the same time! Have to say that I find beeing a economics student quiet awesome!

Right now I'm writtning this blog post at espresso house, my new second home in Sweden. Have a really good one super near my uni (it has a restroom even!!) and becasue I can't really go home between seminars and other activites after class I find myself sitting here and studying alot. I like it but think my wallet might disagree. This has worked as a subtitute for star buck that I fell in love with in Tokoy.. Talking about that! My latest idea of what I can do after summer have been to try being a english  teacher in Japan. It is the easiest work that a foreigner can get in Japan and I do look the part. I will need to get a certificate of my english level and I need to have a degree. But I plan is to have those by the end of summer so hopefully I will have all that I need to apply for the jobs at least. Even if it isn't the perfect  job I think it can be fun and definitely a challenge and it would give me a "break"
for studying. I also have plans on applying for a grant so I can take my master  in Tokyo if I want to. But that seems hard to get so therefore I have the english teacher plan to. Let's work to make both reality and then see what happends!

Now I'm of to badminton practice, until next time!

Already February?!

Hi guys! Is it just me or are 2015 staring of running?? Hard to believe that it is alread February and we are moving to lighter days with less rain! Actually, we have quite a lot of snow here in gothenburg right now and around -4 degrees. Just perfect winter weather if you ask me! I prefer this over the grey and rainy winter that we also get a lot of here in Sweden.

I thought I shoud update you guy a little, recently (or as always) I have been busy. The new cours inbusiness  economics is not to hard but takes up a lot of time. Also I have been quite social and made many new amazing friend and so with that many activites and late eveings follow. Mostly it has been pub nights and sports events. Super fun but makes you tired. Also i'm a bit behind with the studying, have an exam on the 18th that need studying for.. and next Wednesday I have a presentation for the group report me and my group handed in today.. just to keep on working hard to get it all done!

After that exam I have finished 25% of my "last" cours.. can't believe that I will graduation this summer. Or at least get by first bachelors degree.. Talking about that! Can't say I have gotten that much further with "what will I do after summer ends?" question yet.. But I have made an attemp at "level up" at my part time work. I'm trying to get the summer job at the "offices for japanese trade" instead of working as a factory worker. But It's qute a slim chance that I get the job, don't really have the qualifications so i'm relying on standing out with my japanese degree and charm! Already talked to the section boss to make him remember me.. let's se if this tactics work or not! better then doing nothing at least.

But I do know that I want to return to japan. I seriously have more "home sickness" now for japan then I had when IN Japan... Don't get me wrong, I love sweden and it will always be my home where my family and friends is. and they are super important to me! BUT, somehow.. I as a person feel more alive in Japan. It just feels as I should be there. At least for now. Can't say that this will be the case after 5 years, but all I can do is go on my feeling of the me today, and she has to go back. So, recently I have tried to figurate out how to do that. There is a lof of options so I just need to decide which one is the best. It's a complicated matter for me, becasue I can also see a "future" here in Sweden that I also want in a sense... feel like I have 2 part of me that want 2 different kinds of lives.. really hard to decied then I can tell you!!

Well enoguh of me ranting about all my confusing thoughts! Maybe next time I will have a more of a decided topic to talk about!

Until next time!

First week in "new" University!

Hello guys!

Have your new semester started yet? if so, how is it going??

Mine has started with full speed!! Exhausting but so much fun! Got to meet new interesting people for all over Sweden and gone to a lot of new places! Learn how to find my way at school and started to get a hang of the first course which is organizations and leadership! The seminars are really interesting but at the same time a lot to read an learn. We have already gone through 7 chapters in only 5 days! for me that is high speed learning!

I also joined the student comity! or maybe not join in the sense of sitting on the comity board but I paid the semester fee to get all the profits. Like cheaper price at all the student events and get to go to the university pub! and btw, then I say I started at a new university it's technically not true. I'm still a student at gothenburg university but I have switched from one institute to another and this institute for economies is so big that is operates kind of like a sister university.

Besides from pure school things this week have been filled with something called "nollning" and it's a kind of initiation for all the "first year" student or new student. We have been going to pubs on both Monday and Wednesday, Thursday we visited some companies run by only students form the university and yesterday we played beach volleyball together and after that some more partying! Sooo much fun! Even if I can't play beach volleyball is was super fun and everyone was so nice to eveyone. Didn't matter how "well" you played. It's stuff like that, that I really like! respect and kindness in people.

Today was also a nice day! Me and my mother had a "mother daughter day", when in to gothenburg and did some shopping at a district called Haga and had a nice lunch together <3 even if the snowy weather made it cold it was a lof of fun and got to talk about "life and growing up" kind of topics!

There is a bonus photo of my brother and the cat, aren't this adorable!!

Sunday, January 18

So it begins again!

Hi there! How has your 2015 started? Hope is was a good one.

For me it hasn't really started before now I would say. Feels like 2014 stayed with me until now! I just finished my graduation presentation the other day so finally it's done! Now I only have one small left thing to do before my essay is totally done with and published online. That is to correct the comments my examinator finds. I will get those notes tomorrow and then I have one week to fix it. But she seemed to like my essay so don't think it will be much work fixing the details. With this finished so is my japanese studies for the time being and I will move on to economics studies.

It will all start tomorrow. Therefore the feeling of a late start of 2015. Tomorrow a new chaper for me begins. I'm a bit nervouse. New place, new class and new subjects. All new. But as a friend told we, we have survied one year in Japan. If I have the courage to travel to the other side of the world to study, a new place in my "hometown" can't be so difficult. All my firends also start their new chaper. Two friends are moving away to new cities. I will miss them A LOT but at the same time I'm so happy for them! It will be amazing for them, I just know it!

Today I meet up with a friend of mine that I sadly don't see to often. But it was so much fun to atleast talk for some hours and see their new apartment! She lives there with her boyfriend. She lives in a smaller city called Trollhättan it's about one houre for gothenburg. I also got to see her cute rabbit, isn't she a beauty! and I also borrowed some economics books from her to help we with my upcomning studies. So thankful!

Lastly to a totally different subject and kind ofexciting "news"... I have done 2 new videos for youtube! Yepp, know it's kind of unbeliveble but I did it! I will try to edit them today so one will be uploaded soon! So check it out if you are interested!

Oh, almost forgot. Here are some photos from this weeked that also included a fun "pub night" with my fellow japanese sutdens to celebrate that we are finished! And on friday evening I had an amazing dinner at a fine aisan restaurant with some dear frinds to say bye-bye for now. Over all it was a busy but amazing weekend! More of those please!
