Sorry for not updating but because I caught a cold right before my trip I have had a bit of a hard time now in the beginning. Even if I want to do a lot of things my energy just disappears, so sad!
Today I have visited 109 in Shibuya and did some shopping! Haven't found any clothing yet though which is werid! Usually I always finds something. But I have bought some books and music and also a new pair of shoes! (suprise!!). Hope to find something for my brother and my dad soon to!
Yesterday I meet up with Robin and we went to the movies and saw "Attack on titans". It was really cool!!! And the first time I actually saw a Japanese movie at the cinema in Japan! It was so much fun! After that we went to a izakaya for some good food and drinks!
Doesn't this food looks tasty?? But guess what, these things are actually chicken heart and liver.. andto my suprise it WAS tasty. So I would recommend people to have the courage to try new things when they can. I might suprise them!
I also got to meet up with Pedro and buy some senbei and a new manga that is actually written by a Swedish person! I thought that was really cool and that I should support her by buying one copy!
In the moring me, Jesper and Martin also visited my old dorm for a "breakfast pancake party". The girls we met actually lived on the exact same floor as I did!! Talk about feeling nostalgic sitting in my old kitchen!! Miss the exchange year and all my friends so much!! <3
Last Friday I also went to a drinking party with my badminton circel. SOOOOO much fun! Love them so much!! Had a great time! Hopefully I can join them one more time on Saturday when they will have a birthday party for one of my Senpais. after drinking we went for night food and in japan that is ramen! What to not to love about that! <3
A also got to buy a new camera! So happy with it but haven't really learned how to use it that well yet..but I learn by doing!
I will end this post by telling you about two things I have realized in Japan.
1. I like living in Japan better then being a tourist.
Well, at least when visiting a place like Tokyo that have been my home. Coming back as a tourist I though would be super fun all the time. But the truth is that I actually feel a bit lonley here for the first time. This feeling was a real suprise to me. Maybe being sick made it more hard but just being here and not having a real "connection" but just as a toursit is not as fun. Well, I thought people would have vacation but turns out most of them don't, so I have to do most of the sight seeing by myself. Of course the fact that all of my best friends isn't even here in Japan also effects it all a lot. I think this is a really good experience for me, that even in Japan I can feel "negative" things. But I also think I'm staring to get better with being my own company which is good! So, I will learn and get better from this!
2. I want to return to japan for a "long term".
This may seem werid just reading nr.1 but if it's long trearm then I will be a student or working which will give me a belonging and connection like before, and that is when I'm the most happy in Japan. Making new friends and experience new things! So this trip has already made things clearer for me, love it!
That's it for this time! Now it's time to look for a present to my brother and later decied a place to eat dinner before returning home!
Hugs!
PS: My stomach is happy all the time here, the food is to die for <3
