First week in "new" University!

Hello guys!

Have your new semester started yet? if so, how is it going??

Mine has started with full speed!! Exhausting but so much fun! Got to meet new interesting people for all over Sweden and gone to a lot of new places! Learn how to find my way at school and started to get a hang of the first course which is organizations and leadership! The seminars are really interesting but at the same time a lot to read an learn. We have already gone through 7 chapters in only 5 days! for me that is high speed learning!

I also joined the student comity! or maybe not join in the sense of sitting on the comity board but I paid the semester fee to get all the profits. Like cheaper price at all the student events and get to go to the university pub! and btw, then I say I started at a new university it's technically not true. I'm still a student at gothenburg university but I have switched from one institute to another and this institute for economies is so big that is operates kind of like a sister university.

Besides from pure school things this week have been filled with something called "nollning" and it's a kind of initiation for all the "first year" student or new student. We have been going to pubs on both Monday and Wednesday, Thursday we visited some companies run by only students form the university and yesterday we played beach volleyball together and after that some more partying! Sooo much fun! Even if I can't play beach volleyball is was super fun and everyone was so nice to eveyone. Didn't matter how "well" you played. It's stuff like that, that I really like! respect and kindness in people.

Today was also a nice day! Me and my mother had a "mother daughter day", when in to gothenburg and did some shopping at a district called Haga and had a nice lunch together <3 even if the snowy weather made it cold it was a lof of fun and got to talk about "life and growing up" kind of topics!

There is a bonus photo of my brother and the cat, aren't this adorable!!

So it begins again!

Hi there! How has your 2015 started? Hope is was a good one.

For me it hasn't really started before now I would say. Feels like 2014 stayed with me until now! I just finished my graduation presentation the other day so finally it's done! Now I only have one small left thing to do before my essay is totally done with and published online. That is to correct the comments my examinator finds. I will get those notes tomorrow and then I have one week to fix it. But she seemed to like my essay so don't think it will be much work fixing the details. With this finished so is my japanese studies for the time being and I will move on to economics studies.

It will all start tomorrow. Therefore the feeling of a late start of 2015. Tomorrow a new chaper for me begins. I'm a bit nervouse. New place, new class and new subjects. All new. But as a friend told we, we have survied one year in Japan. If I have the courage to travel to the other side of the world to study, a new place in my "hometown" can't be so difficult. All my firends also start their new chaper. Two friends are moving away to new cities. I will miss them A LOT but at the same time I'm so happy for them! It will be amazing for them, I just know it!

Today I meet up with a friend of mine that I sadly don't see to often. But it was so much fun to atleast talk for some hours and see their new apartment! She lives there with her boyfriend. She lives in a smaller city called Trollhättan it's about one houre for gothenburg. I also got to see her cute rabbit, isn't she a beauty! and I also borrowed some economics books from her to help we with my upcomning studies. So thankful!

Lastly to a totally different subject and kind ofexciting "news"... I have done 2 new videos for youtube! Yepp, know it's kind of unbeliveble but I did it! I will try to edit them today so one will be uploaded soon! So check it out if you are interested!

Oh, almost forgot. Here are some photos from this weeked that also included a fun "pub night" with my fellow japanese sutdens to celebrate that we are finished! And on friday evening I had an amazing dinner at a fine aisan restaurant with some dear frinds to say bye-bye for now. Over all it was a busy but amazing weekend! More of those please!

Friday, January 9

Another good day!

Hi again!

My christmas break is soon over so I have spent the last days the best way I can! Yesterday and today have been good days! Yesterday I had a wonderful time with Sara. We just sat in my sofa drinking tea and talking talking talking. Just one of those awesome days we hadn't had for a while. She will be moving away to Uppsala on the 18th so we both try to spend as much time together as we can before then!

Today me and Jenny spent the day together, starting with playing some badminton for one hour followed by some hot tea at my place! Later we made dinner and watched a movie, Ghost in the Shell. It was good but quite hard to grasp the meaning of sometimes. But a good movie non the less!

Spending some lazy days with friends is really something one should do more often! Better treasure the time you have with them because you never know when somethings may change!

Regarding education. My graduation essay is finaly totally done and handed in for the last time! Just have to prepare the last presentation for the 16th then it's done! If I pass that is. Hoping hoping! On the 19th my new course in business economics will start. Going to be a hard one. Seems that I will have one exam each month.. just have to give it my all! Should do the trick.

Otherwise there is no big news. Planing on going to a nice dinner place with friends next friday and have a plan on maybe going to london for a short trip in mars. But nothing decided just yet.

That's all for this time!

Happy New Year! Start of 2015!

Hi there! How was your New years eve?

My was really good! Had a tasty dinner with friends, a lof of fun talk, a small party with just enought people and beautiful nigh view of the firework around 00.00. Can't ask for much more!

The day turned out to be quit long. Met for shopping food for the dinner around 13.00. I was a bit late as usual even if I tried to be on time! I don't get why I never can be on time, maybe I should make that to one of my new years resolutions...

Now time for a traditional look back at 2014.

My 2014 was a great year! I got to travel, see new things and places, gain new experience that all helped me grow as a person! May sound cheesy but it's actually the truth for this year.

My 2014 began in tokyo and ended in Sweden. Living in tokyo as an exchangestudent was the best thing that ever happend to me. The choice that I am the most proud of making. I got to learn to speak japanese, take care of myself, how to live in a different culture and how it is to be apart of a minority of a society. I got to meet people from all over the world and made new friends for life! By making new friends I discovered how much you can grow by it. I had forgot the feelning of creating a new personal bond like the one you get with a new friend which evidently made me found out new thing about myself. The biggest thing that I gain personally by living abroad was confidence. Things aren't as scary as the may seem and it isn't bad if you don't have a plan for every situation. Just try and go for it and you will find a solution as you go. That is definitely a new insight for me. I can do so much more then I frist thought. By leaving my comfortzone I actually got more secure in myself then never before. It is a great feeling!

So, to sum it up shorty of what I learned/gained from the year of 2014, here is a little list.
- Gained confident. (no need to feel embarrassed by talking to stranger on the phone, making appointments and so on)
- Learned how to speak Japanese
- Made friends for all over the world
- I'm not as much of an "control-freak" as before, No plan? improvise? good!
- Learned how to cook properly (kind of)
- Discovered my love for traveling
- Started playing badminton

So, I have to say that my grear was great! But what about 2015? What's the plans and goals for next year? Here are some!

My general plan is to study company economics for one semester and around summer take mybachelors degree in Japanese. I also plan on taking two language tests JLPT 2 for japanese and probelbly TOEFL for English. What I will do after the summer break is still unsure but I either study or start searching for work. If I will do this is Sweden or Japan is also not certain as of yet. Working on figuring that out already.

My goals will be:
-Playing badminton two times a week
- Take my degree
- Take and pass two languages test
- Travel once in Europe
- Going back to Japan
- Stop being late to appointments

That will be enought to begin with I think! I'm really looking forwad to the year 2015. New encounters, experiences and challenges! Hope you also have a positive view of 2015 because here it comes!

Hugs!
