Happy New Year! Start of 2015!

Hi there! How was your New years eve?

My was really good! Had a tasty dinner with friends, a lof of fun talk, a small party with just enought people and beautiful nigh view of the firework around 00.00. Can't ask for much more!

The day turned out to be quit long. Met for shopping food for the dinner around 13.00. I was a bit late as usual even if I tried to be on time! I don't get why I never can be on time, maybe I should make that to one of my new years resolutions...

Now time for a traditional look back at 2014.

My 2014 was a great year! I got to travel, see new things and places, gain new experience that all helped me grow as a person! May sound cheesy but it's actually the truth for this year.

My 2014 began in tokyo and ended in Sweden. Living in tokyo as an exchangestudent was the best thing that ever happend to me. The choice that I am the most proud of making. I got to learn to speak japanese, take care of myself, how to live in a different culture and how it is to be apart of a minority of a society. I got to meet people from all over the world and made new friends for life! By making new friends I discovered how much you can grow by it. I had forgot the feelning of creating a new personal bond like the one you get with a new friend which evidently made me found out new thing about myself. The biggest thing that I gain personally by living abroad was confidence. Things aren't as scary as the may seem and it isn't bad if you don't have a plan for every situation. Just try and go for it and you will find a solution as you go. That is definitely a new insight for me. I can do so much more then I frist thought. By leaving my comfortzone I actually got more secure in myself then never before. It is a great feeling!

So, to sum it up shorty of what I learned/gained from the year of 2014, here is a little list.
- Gained confident. (no need to feel embarrassed by talking to stranger on the phone, making appointments and so on)
- Learned how to speak Japanese
- Made friends for all over the world
- I'm not as much of an "control-freak" as before, No plan? improvise? good!
- Learned how to cook properly (kind of)
- Discovered my love for traveling
- Started playing badminton

So, I have to say that my grear was great! But what about 2015? What's the plans and goals for next year? Here are some!

My general plan is to study company economics for one semester and around summer take mybachelors degree in Japanese. I also plan on taking two language tests JLPT 2 for japanese and probelbly TOEFL for English. What I will do after the summer break is still unsure but I either study or start searching for work. If I will do this is Sweden or Japan is also not certain as of yet. Working on figuring that out already.

My goals will be:
-Playing badminton two times a week
- Take my degree
- Take and pass two languages test
- Travel once in Europe
- Going back to Japan
- Stop being late to appointments

That will be enought to begin with I think! I'm really looking forwad to the year 2015. New encounters, experiences and challenges! Hope you also have a positive view of 2015 because here it comes!

Hugs!
