Airport blogging!

Hi again!

Here with yet another post from the airport!

Arrived saftly in Istanbul and in one houre I will borad the next plane to gothenburg! Have been waiting for about 4 hours but it really feels like no time at all!

I spent the most of the time resting at Starbucks, even if I could sleep for about 5 hours (which is veary unsuall for me) I still feel quite tired... think it's because of the horrible turbulence we had on the plane!! It was the longest and strongest turbulence I have experienced. The worst part happen when we were eating. It was shaking so much that glases, bottles etc fell down on the floor. I was seriously scared at that time and felt like crying! Even if I generally feel that my fear of flying is getting a bit better this diddefinitely  NOT help the progress... So think that is the reason why I feel so tired.

Also got to have a nice short chat with some Italian guys just now at starbucks, they didn't reallt know who to change the sim-card on their phones so I helpt with that, really nice people!

Must say that it feels nice to soon be back in Sweden and I'm looking forward to start up a everyday rutine again! Feels like I'm taking the next step and moving forward again and that is always a nice feeling.

I do miss Japan already though... even if the trip this time was more challening in many ways I really do feel like I'm leavning my home at the same time as I'm going home which is a hard and confusing feeling. HERE am I supposed to be??? it the feeling I'm having these days.

Oh, another thought I've had for a couple of weeks now if that I might start a second blog that is more "professional" about Japan and asian culture. writning about Japan is something I really love doing so I sounds like a fun thing to do, and to get my youtube acount going again! So if I can decied soon you guys might get a new blog to follow to if you're intrerested!

That's it for now!

Hugs!

Shopping in Tokyo

Hi guys!

The life as a tourist goes on and I get more energy for each day as my cold is getting better and I'm feeling more positive!

Shopping is a thing I do a lot here and the other day I had a blast in korea town! Me, Jepser and Martin when for lunch togerher at a korean barbeque resturangt will all-you-can-eat offers. It was AMAZING! But that day it was over 30 degress so we were dying slowly because of the heat... but otherwise it was good!

Later I went around shopping and bought a lot off stuff. Half of it were idol stuff from my favorite band cnblue or one of my favirit actors! I can't really buy these thing is Sweden so.. let's buy a lot now was my thinking... my wallet it sad!

I also bought some beauty products! Some a bit expensive so hope it will work! The hard thing about buying it here is that the staff will ALWAYS stop you and talk to you, recommende products and TESTING them on your hand without even asking sometimes... so it's not easy.. well so Swedish off me not to like to talk to the staff and just "look around by myself". But thanks to them I think I got some nice products that will have the effect I'm looking for!

When going home some REALLY handsome korean guys where giving out advertising about their liveconcerts and when I passed them they have me some and an explanation in Korean then Japanese and last in english, so cute! (Yes I like asian guys a lot)

Today it was Shopping in Shibuya agan and I did find some clotning at forever 21! Love that store <3
I also found a present for my brother, only one for dad left know! It's my dads brithday today so will also talk to him on the phone later!

Now I'm resting in nakano and will soon do some looking around and shopping before meeting up with Martin and Jesper for dinner in Tachikawa! And I think we will take som perikura and go for karaoke after that! FINALLY my voice is okay so I can go for karaoke, have missed it so much!!!

Back in Tokyo!

Hi!

Sorry for not updating but because I caught a cold right before my trip I have had a bit of a hard time now in the beginning. Even if I want to do a lot of things my energy just disappears, so sad!

Today I have visited 109 in Shibuya and did some shopping! Haven't found any clothing yet though which is werid! Usually I always finds something. But I have bought some books and music and also a new pair of shoes! (suprise!!). Hope to find something for my brother and my dad soon to!

Yesterday I meet up with Robin and we went to the movies and saw "Attack on titans". It was really cool!!! And the first time I actually saw a Japanese movie at the cinema in Japan! It was so much fun! After that we went to a izakaya for some good food and drinks!

Doesn't this food looks tasty?? But guess what, these things are actually chicken heart and liver.. andto my suprise it WAS tasty. So I would recommend people to have the courage to try new things when they can. I might suprise them!

I also got to meet up with Pedro and buy some senbei and a new manga that is actually written by a Swedish person! I thought that was really cool and that I should support her by buying one copy!

In the moring me, Jesper and Martin also visited my old dorm for a "breakfast pancake party". The girls we met actually lived on the exact same floor as I did!! Talk about feeling nostalgic sitting in my old kitchen!! Miss the exchange year and all my friends so much!! <3

Last Friday I also went to a drinking party with my badminton circel. SOOOOO much fun! Love them so much!!  Had a great time! Hopefully I can join them one more time on Saturday when they will have a birthday party for one of my Senpais. after drinking we went for night food and in japan that is ramen! What to not to love about that! <3

A also got to buy a new camera! So happy with it but haven't really learned how to use it that well yet..but I learn by doing!

I will end this post by telling you about two things I have realized in Japan.

1. I like living in Japan better then being a tourist.
Well, at least when visiting a place like Tokyo that have been my home. Coming back as a tourist I though would be super fun all the time. But the truth is that I actually feel a bit lonley here for the first time. This feeling was a real suprise to me. Maybe being sick made it more hard but just being here and not having a real "connection" but just as a toursit is not as fun. Well, I thought people would have vacation but turns out most of them don't, so I have to do most of the sight seeing by myself. Of course the fact that all of my best friends isn't even here in Japan also effects it all a lot. I think this is a really good experience for me, that even in Japan I can feel "negative" things. But I also think I'm staring to get better with being my own company which is good! So, I will learn and get better from this!

2. I want to return to japan for a "long term".
This may seem werid just reading nr.1 but if it's long trearm then I will be a student or working which will give me a belonging and connection like before, and that is when I'm the most happy in Japan. Making new friends and experience new things! So this trip has already made things clearer for me, love it!

That's it for this time! Now it's time to look for a present to my brother and later decied a place to eat dinner before returning home!

Hugs!

PS: My stomach is happy all the time here, the food is to die for <3

travel update 1 / gothenburg ariport!

Hi again!

Waiting at the airport while drinking a beer! Hope that it will help me will my fear of flying! It has been better the last year but I still don't like it!

up until now the travel has gone smoothly. But It has also just begun! Check it was trouble free but I didn't get to choose the seats so I think I have a window seat on both planes. It's nice but I rather have a seat by the ail because then you can get up without disturbing anyone.. well well, it's okay anyway!

one thing did happen though, for the first time I had a cabin baggeg check. So they opened my baggage to look inside at tested it for explosives. Apparently there is a new rule within in EU that from this year the can do random tests. Well, wasn't any problems with mine of course. But you always getnervous  anyway!  At least I do...

Will be borading my plane in 15 minutes so have to keep it short!

hope to update again While in Istanbul!

Be safe!

Travel day!!

Hi guys!

Today is the day!! Almost bursting with excitement but at the same time very relaxed. Which is rare because of my medium flight fear. I have had some more bad luck since last and that is my current cold. So typical to get a cold one day before my flight, but I have some medicine with me so I think it will go smoothly anyway!

Right now I'm enjoying a long breakfast after a nice and relaxing shower. I will leave for the airport around 15 o'clock and my first plane to Istanbul will leave at 17:40.

The packing is almost done. Just some makeup and small stuff left, then checking the most important things like passport, plane ticket and money. Have big luggage with me but almost notning inside, shopping shopping will solve that!

Yesterday I bought a new phone so I actually have one to bring. This fellow better stay with me for a long long time!!!!

I hope to be able to update you guys later tonight if I have wi-fi during my 3 hours wait in istanbul!

Horrible start to an amazing vacation!

Hi guys!

Today I'm pissed of, sad and tired.

My vacation could have had a much better start then this. Yesterday I went out to party with some friends and all evening I had a great time until the last 15 minutes before going home. I got my phone stolen for a  FUCKING SECOND TIME!! sorry for the swearing but this is one of those times when it is necessary. Who has such bad luck that they get their new expensive phone stolen TWICE?! and within one year. It's crazy!! Hate people how can't tell "yours from mine". FUCKING STUPID PEOPLE!!! and this time they got my credit card and drivers license to. So that sucks like fuck to. Yesterday ended in tears and frustration.

Today I have spent the whole day canceling my credit cards, order a new drives license, order a new sim card, calling my insurance company and of course made a police report. So tiering. Because of this I now don't have a credit card to bring to Tokyo so let's just say that cash is king undring the coming trip. Luckily Japan is a cash country!

Tomorrow we are planing on buying a new phone and hopefully my insurense will cover 80% of the costs. I will take this opportunity to buy one with more GB and take out an extra insurance on it. I will keep this fucking phone no mater what!!!!!!!

To make my mood a little bit better I have spent the rest of the day and evening eating good food, watching dramas and spoiling my skin with some face masks and treatments. I may not have a phone but to do have nice looking skin! Stay positive.... stay positive...

Hopefully it all feels better tomorrow so when I get on my plane this Tuesday I will be as happy and excited as ever! This will NOT effect the rest of my vacation!!

Only 3 day to go until I get to go home!!!!!!! <3  (to a country that treats you with respect!! So If you don't start to treat me better Sweden, I might not come back! )

Hugs!

Before good night!

Good evening guys!

これから、英語でね〜

Will make a mini post before going to bed! Had a fun day today! After work I meet up with a friend from my Japanese classes and we went to see a cosplay performance and competion that was a part of "Gothenburg cultural festival" that is a big festival celebrating different cultures. Was so much fun and the weather was amazing! Ate some polish food, tasty!

My amazing friend Lina also preformed with her dance group, they were so cool and good!

Felt like I had a bit of holiday even if just for a couple of hours! Came home around 20:30, exercised for 20 minutes and watched some videos of CNBLUE and now I'm drinking tea before bed! Really need to sleep.. Already 22:20! Not easy to get up at 5:00... Well!

Hugs! <3

We enter August!

Good morning!

Posting from work, have realized that I'm often to tired to do it when I get home.

As said before this summer will defiantly represent the time I discovered (and got obsessed with) kdramas. My normal everyday consists of work during day and kdramas  in the evening. Definitely a good way to relax for me! Right now I'm watching two, "I hear your voice" and " the scholar who walks the night" really good ones!!

Last week I had a really fun night out with J and on Sunday we had a cozy shopping day! Have to do something fun during the weekends! Bought some new clothes from ginatrico and skin products for the body shop!

Yesterday me and my family also had a cozy picnic at the beach! My brother made the best pancakes and I managed to get myself to swim a bit in the lake even if it was pretty cold!

That's all I have time to update you guys with!
Hugs!

Big news!!

Hi!

Have some awesome news!

I'm going back to Japan for a 2 week trip on the 25th of August!! Finally got around to buying my plane ticket! SO FREAKING HAPPY! Even if it's just for 2 weeks it feels amazing just to know that I will go back soon. Have so many friends I want to meet, places I want to go to, shopping, eating delicious food and of course karaoke!! Also have a lot of food and alcohol I want to buy and bring back... but have to look up all the rules and so on before that.

The ticket this time was around 5200 SEK, If I had done it earlier I could have got it cheaper, but no can do now! I will travel with Turkish airlines, hope they are good!

My trip to Japan will take 18H and I will make one stop at Istanbul airport and have to wait for the connecting flight for 3H. On my way back it's Istanbul again but then it's 4 hours of waiting.

Other than the awesome news about my trip to Tokyo, I have also officially graduatet! I applied to get my graduation diploma today and it will take about 8 weeks until I get it, but officially I'm already done with it! Feels amazing!

I also have started with a tea called Tinytea that is suppose  to help you lose some weight, hope it works! Are very motivated to lose at least 2-3kg before the japan trip! Somehow going to Japan always gives me a boost of motivation for weight loss.. maybe because they are so tiny over there or because I know I have A LOT of food I have to eat while there...

                                                              Lee Min Ho

                                                         Jung Yong Hwa

Another obsession for me right know is Kdrama (Korean drama) somehow they are so dramatic and emotional! Two actors I like the most right now I Lee Min Ho and Jung Yong Hwa, the later is actually the singer of my favorite band CNBLUE. He is mainly a singer and later an actor, but love them both! Have a lot of kdrama to talk about but will make that into another separate post! Can just let you guys know that the kdrama I'm currently watching is Called "High Society" and is still running, it's a really good one and it have a more grown up storyline and not the high school drama type. So turned into a "must watch"  for me!

That's about it for this time!

Weekend family trip!

Hi guys,

Short update!

This weekend is a family trip weekend. Every year since I've been born we have been going to an island called "Koster" that is pretty close to Norway. It's a really small  island, you can't even bring cars there, love it!

So, right now me and my family is here at Koster and just chilling! It's been 1,5 year since I last visited and I realize now how much I actually have missed it! Sadly because of my work I can only stay over the weekend this time and not the whole week. But better then nothing!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Here is some pictures from the trip so far:

Long time no see!

Hi guys!

Have you been busy? Guess what, I have. Obviously.

The last 2-3 weeks of classes and exams were crazy busy, I studied a lot but not sure if it was enough for the last exam thought. But I did my best and that is what counts right?

So now the spring term has ended and the summer break has begun. But no break for me. I have work at my part time job the whole summer. Started this Monday and will work Monday to Friday until August 21th.. yeah I know it's hard. BUT the work really pays off well. Before taxes I get around 26700 SEK per month and that is GOOD!! and I want money so I can travel back to Japan so I'm not really complaining  about it!

Soon I'm going to buy my plane tickets for the 2-3 week trip to Japan in the end of August, right after my work ends. Soooooooo excited already! Hoping that I can stay at some friends so I can save a lot of money on hostles and stuff!

Today I just finished my first week of work and we decided to celebrate my graduation (even if I haven't got the results from the last exam yet ) and it was so nice and the weather is amazing! Might get a sunburn from just eating dinner outside.. the curse of pail skin!! As presents I got money from my grandparents and some nice wine glasses from iitala from my mom and dad. I also got a really nice Regal watch! Will show you in the pictures below〜

Now I will keep relaxing at our balcony in the sun and drinking some rosé wine while listening to some CNBLUE songs. Life is good right now!

Homesick and tv series addicted

Hi there!

This will probably be a short and random post.

First I just wanted to ramble a little bit about having the strangest feeling of "homesickness" to return to Japan. Isn't that crazy? I lived there for one year and now I feel homesickness to go back?? I think it sounds weird. It varies from day to day and yesterday was kind of a "bad" one. I just can't stop thinking about how my life was there and all the things and people that I miss. Here it feels like i'm doing things that I'm suppose to do and I do it because of that. I want to get my bachelor degree so I have to study, I have to have money so I work. I have fun with my friend because I want to of course and I'm not saying that I don't love being here with them and my family, that is the best thing here in Sweden. But it's just that I feel like I'm "stuck" in a place where I don't get challenges. I want to move on to the "next step" even though I'm not really sure that that step is... I know.. it sounds weird doesn't it? Anyhow, nothing to do but to try to stay positiv and find challeges in the beautiful every day life I have here to!

Secondaly I just wanted to say that I recently have begun to think if it really is a good thing to be so into series  as I am.. I really love just to relax and watch series as soon as I get home. Actually when home I just watch series like.. 80% of the time... doesn't sound to good righ? Lately I'm afraid that I'm just watching "other peoples lives" and not really living my own.. but yeah I'm probably just reading a bit to much into it all, nothing wrong with spending you free time doing things you like....right

That was my thought and troubles for today!

Hugs!

Good morning Monday!

Good morning!

Mondays always seem to be the hardest but today I decided to star with energy and stay positive! And this Monday already seems better.

Didn't really have time to eat breakfast at home so I decided to drop by my favorite place *espresso house* and eat, relax and do the studying I didn't have time to do yesterday.
Decided to go with a chai latte and a ham sandwich and that's not a bad way to start the day!

Last weekend I did some awesome shopping with my mom, was an amazing day! My dad were away with some friends from work on a weekend trip to Kiel so we decided to have a nice and well needed mother and daughter day. This is the kind of thing I would miss if i move to Japan in the near future. Guess you can't get it all!

Today I will meet some friends and plan for our group assignment, later from 13 to 16 I have a seminar and tonight from 18 to 20 I have a lesson with my student. Long Monday but I think it will go smoothly!

What are your plans on a Monday like this?

Evening update

Hi!

Having a good weekend? Mine is busy!

Right now I'm enjoying a cup of hot chocolate with whip cream! Best on rainy days and today was one of those days!! So typical Swedish summer.. I want the real deal already! Which is a surprising thingcoming  from me. Say, 2 years ago (before Japan then) I was a autumn person and didn't like summer that much. Just got sun burned and I didn't really like the summer fashion and clothes. But that has change. Now I want to have good warm weather so I can wear all my new nice summer clothes and SHOES. Sooooooo want to use my summer shoes. But still the weather here is to cold and rainy for that.

Otherwise it has been a normal week. Seminars, working two part time jobs and trying to keep up with all the necessary studies. Oh, I got a call from my job at Volvo and they said that they had expanded my summer job from 6 weeks to 11! Which is awesome news to me. More job means more money meaning I can go back to Japan faster! Planing a trip there after this summer, just can't wait longer! Even if the trip it might just be for a couple of weeks it will be better than nothing!

Now I will go to sleep! Have to work tomorrow and in the evening I'm meeting up friends for a nice dinner and later we will go to a nigh club to see my friends boyfriend and his band play. Looking forward to it a lot!

Sleep tight everyone!

Good night!
